Delete your Kermo account

Last updated: 17 July 2026

You can delete your Kermo account and the personal data attached to it at any time. There are two ways to do it, and both remove the same data.

In the app or on the web

  • Sign in at kermo.aimdev.site.
  • Open Profile, then Privacy & GDPR.
  • Choose Delete Account and confirm.

By email

Write to [email protected] from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. This is the route to use if you can no longer sign in.

What happens next

Deletion is not immediate. Your account is scheduled for removal and is permanently deleted 30 days after the request. The delay is a safety net: it lets you undo an accidental or malicious deletion by signing in again and cancelling the request within those 30 days. After that the deletion cannot be reversed.

What is deleted

  • Your account and sign-in identity.
  • Your practice progress, per-question history and statistics.
  • Your consent choices and any analytics events tied to your account.

What is kept, and for how long

Records we are required to keep are retained after deletion: purchase and tax records for a Pro purchase are held for 7 years to meet New Zealand tax law, and are kept only for that purpose. Practice content itself (the questions and explanations) is ours, not yours, and is unaffected.

Deleting your account does not by itself refund a Pro purchase — see the Terms of Service for refunds, and the Privacy Policy for the full detail of what we hold and why.
